A lot of women make the mistake of assuming that if they can just
get their ex boyfriend to sleep with them again, that they would then
have an easy chance to get back with him. And what usually happens is
that they get the shock of finding out that even after he has slept with
them, that he is still not really into the idea of being a couple
again. What is that? Why does it usually work out that way?

Like it or not, one of the major benefits that a guy gets out of a relationship is the sex. Yes, he might like other things about the relationship, but one of the prime motivators for him is the sex. Once they know that they can get the best part of the relationship (the sex) without having to do the other things, like actually spend time talking to you or listening to you or accompanying you around, they are going to figure that this is the way that it should be and they are going to be cool with that.
Basically, you end up setting yourself up as a woman that they can have a kind of, friends with benefits thing going on. If that isn't what you want, then you can't let him sleep with you without being back in a relationship with you.
A better approach to winning back an ex boyfriend is to make him feel attracted to you enough so that he wants to do all of the other things that make up a relationship before he gets to sleep with you. Otherwise, you are going to most likely find out that he is looking for a situation where he gets to have sex with you, but doesn't want to do anything else that a boyfriend would do or should do.
Here is where some women get tricked with that. He'll do a few of the relationship kind of things. Mostly, he'll spend time with you when he isn't doing anything else. However, you won't be a priority in his life and you won't get the respect that you deserve from him.
